AGENDA
The agenda will include: 1) THOMAS W. BECKLEY, request for a Major Amendment to a previously approved Plan Amendment and Zone Change (PD File No. 05-132), which added a 38± acre, large-scale site to the Douglas County Mineral Resources Inventory. The applicant’s Major Amendment request is to reconfigure and expand the mining site to approximately 64 acres within the 261.02 acre subject parcel, located on Wilbur Road, west of I-5 at Wilbur. 2) CHRISTOPHER JOSEPH GRAY, request for a Comprehensive Plan Amendment from Tourist Commercial and Community Commercial to Low Density Residential and a Zone Change from Tourist Commercial to Suburban Residential on three adjoining parcels of 0.51, 0.49 and 0.82 acres, respectively, to make the zoning consistent with the intended use of the property, located on Brown Street in the Urban Unincorporated Area of Glide. 3) DAN WEBB, request for a Major Amendment to a previously approved Comprehensive Plan Amendment and Zone Change to allow placement of a billboard (PD File No. 03-189) to allow expansion of the area previously approved for placement of a billboard on the site, located off of Prescott Avenue, within the Rural Community of Rice Hill. 4) ROSEBURG PAVING COMPANY, request for a Comprehensive Plan Amendment to add a large-scale site to the Douglas County Mineral Resources Inventory and to permit the mining of the site, and a Zone Change to apply the Mineral Resources Overlay to the mining site itself and the Design Review Overlay to the remainder of the subject property. The proposed mining and processing site comprises 44± acres of the 126.48 acre parcel, located on North Umpqua Highway, north of the Dixonville Rural Community. 5) Planning Commission Resolution Endorsing HB 3285: Dwelling-by-Right.
