PROCLAMATION – National Historic Preservation Month
CITIZEN PARTICIPATION FOR COMMENTS ON AGENDA ITEMS ONLY
1. BID OPENING – Public Works
Bid opening for the overlay of Rolling Hills Road #366, mile post 0.97 to mile post 1.44, Douglas County, Oregon
2. ASSESSOR—Tax Refunds
Orders refunding taxes as follows: Gary and Lauren Campbell in the amount of $1,227.99, and Arthur and Valerie Trout in the amount of $1,629.73
3. HEALTH AND SOCIAL SERVICES – Mental Health Services Contract
Contract with Greater Oregon Behavioral Health, Inc. for Mental Health Services. Monthly rate varies depending on capitation.
4. LAND – Satisfaction of Mortgage
Satisfaction of Mortgage relative to a Woodlands Assistance Program loan to Marshall F. Kirby and Maureen E. Kirby. The loan has been paid in full and the County’s lien is being removed from the Kirby’s property.
5. PUBLIC WORKS – Contract Extension with RUSA
Ninth extension of contract with RUSA to accept leachate from the Roseburg Landfill. Cost is .05 per gallon. Contract extended to June 30, 2010.
6. PUBLIC WORKS – Extension/Modifcation of Contract with Umpqua Research Co.
Extension and modification of contract with Umpqua Research Company, Inc., for landfill monitoring analysis. Contract extended to June 30, 2010.
7. SHERIFF – Grant Extension with Conmed Inc.
Extension of current contract with Conmed to provide inmate healthcare. Cost is $65,573.50 per month for an annual amount of $786,882. Contract extended to April 30, 2010.
8. SHERIFF – Order Authorizing Purchase of a 2009 Toyota Truck
Order authorizing purchase of one new full-size four door, four wheel drive, crew cab pickup from Clint Newell Motors. Quotes received and tabulated. $25,000 of this purchase to be paid for utilizing ATV Grant Funding. Douglas County will fund the remaining balance.
9. MISCELLANEOUS – Discussion Regarding Request from City of Winston
Discussion on request from City of Winston in the amount of $275,000 to fulfill funding commitment for the Winston Community Center.
