November 11 - Veterans Day Parade
The Douglas County Veterans Day Parade is held every year in Roseburg, usually on Veterans Day. It is the second largest Veterans Day Parade in Oregon (at least) and it has been the largest on several occasions. The Parade Committee begins meeting in March or April of each year to get a good start on the enormous task of putting this Parade on the road to HONOR OUR VETERANS.
Douglas County Veterans Day Parade Committee meetings are held once a month early in the year and may meet twice a month as the Parade draws near. Meetings are usually held on the first Wednesday of each month at the County Courthouse Room 310 or 311. Volunteers are welcome! Please call for exact dates and place.
