The agenda will include the following: 1) Staff review of the 2009 proposed legislative amendments to the Douglas County Comprehensive Plan and the Land Use and Development Ordinance, 2) Staff review of the proposed update to the Douglas County Natural Hazards Mitigation Plan (NHMP), 3) PAC discussion on the area’s emergency communications during wildfires, floods and other natural disasters, and 4) PAC discussion of water frontage issues and riparian protection (i.e. riparian rights and lands sloughing into river).
