Douglas County Parks has 2 YURTS located in Whistler's Bend Park which is 13 miles east of Roseburg via Highway 138, then go 2 miles north on Whistler's Park Road.

• It is a circular domed tent with a plywood floor, electricity and a framed-in lockable wooden door for privacy and security.
• A YURT combines the security of a structure with the informality of camping.
• It measures 16 feet in diameter and has a 20 foot high ceiling.
• It is furnished with a bunk bed that sleeps three, a futon that sleeps two. Other furnishings include a coffee table, electric heater and indoor lighting. Bedding is not provided.

HOW TO RESERVE:

YURTS may be reserved anywhere from 24 hours to 11 months in advance by calling 541-957-7001. Monday through Friday, 10:00am.-2:00pm.

CANCELLATIONS:

To cancel your reservations call park headquarters at 541-957-7001. To receive a refund of the first night you must call one week prior to arrival date.

RATE:

The rate is $32.00 per night. There is a $10 nonrefundable reservation fee. VISA & Mastercard are accepted.

CHECK-IN TIME/CHECK-OUT TIME:

Check-in time is 2:30 p.m.
Check-out time is 1:30 p.m.

Each YURT has a fire ring and picnic table. There are hot showers and flush restrooms nearby.
Pets, cooking and smoking are not permitted inside the YURT.
YURTS are situated on a slope above the campground and offer a panoramic view of the North Umpqua River.
