The following 8 overnight campgrounds contain a total of 290 sites and all but Whistler's Bend and Half Moon Bay offer full hookup service year-round: (Campground map and directionsExplanation of Camping Fees)

  • Amacher Park (541-672-4901) - 5750 NE Stephens, Winchester OR 97495 located on the North Umpqua River 5 miles north of Roseburg, offers beautiful surroundings for the picnicker or traveler. There is a boat ramp, wheel chair accessible restrooms with showers, a picnic area, a reservable gazebo and one of the few Myrtlewood groves in the country. All campsites are “first come – first served.” There are 20 full hook-ups at $23 per night during peak-season and $20 per night during off season, and 10 non hook-up sites at $15 per night. A $2 per night discount applies for Douglas County residents. This campground accepts “Cash Only." Park is closed during the winter.

  • Chief Miwaleta Campground (541-837-3302) - 8200 Upper Cow Creek Road, Azalea OR 97410 located 9 miles east of Azalea off the I-5 freeway, exit 88. The campground overlooks the beautiful Galesville Reservoir. Activities include fishing, boating, hiking, camping, and picnicking. A reservable pavilion is available in the day use area. The campground has 20 full hook-up sites of which seven are reservable and the rest are “first come - first served” at $23 per night during peak-season and $20 per night during off season. Non hook-up sites are available at $15 per night. A $2 per night discount applies for Douglas County residents for individual campsites only. Credit and Debit cards are not accepted at the campground. Three reservable cabins overlooking the lake are available. Cabin 1 is $35 per night and Cabin 2 and 3 have a kitchenette and shower and are $50 per night. Cabin 1 and 3 are ADA accessible. Reservations for the cabins are taken at the Douglas County Park Department Headquarters off ice at 541-957-7001, between the hours of 10:00am and 2:00pm, Monday through Friday excluding County holidays. A $10.00 non-refundable reservation fee will be charged for all reservations.

  • Half Moon Bay Group Site Half Moon Bay (541-271-5634) - 1645 Salmon Harbor Dr, Reedsport OR 97467, 4 miles south of Reedsport in Winchester Bay. This is the perfect campground for the off-road enthusiast as it is located adjacent to the staging area for the Dunes National Recreation Area. The campground is close to ocean beaches, crabbing, whale watching and the Umpqua Lighthouse. It features 45 individual campsites, of which 13 are reservable, and five reservable group sites. Individual non hook-up sites are $23 per night during peak-season and $20 per night during off season. A $2 per night discount applies for Douglas County residents for individual campsites. Group sites A, B, & D are $60 per night and Group sites C & E are $75 per night. Checks and Cash only are accepted at the campground.   • Pass Creek Park (541-942-3281) - 201 Curtin Park Rd, Cottage Grove, OR 97424 located off I-5 at Curtin, exit #163. The campground is complete with a stream, pond, restrooms with showers, playground, laundry facilities and a reservable pavilion. Pass Creek is a hidden gem, perfect for the traveler or picnicker. It contains 30 “first come – first served” campsites with full RV hookups and it also has abundant space for tent camping. Full hook-up sites are $23 per night during peak-season and $20 per night during off season. Non hook-up sites are $15 per night. A $2 per night discount applies for Douglas County residents. Checks and Cash only are accepted at the campground.

  • Stanton Park (541-839-4483) - 1540 Stanton Park Road, Canyonville OR 97417 located on the South Umpqua River at Canyonville off I-5 northbound exit #99 or southbound exit 101, offers a picnic area, large reserveable pavilion, accessible restrooms with showers, fishing, playground and a reservable group camping area . All individual campsites are “first come - first served”. There are 20 full hook-up sites at $23 per night during peak-season and $20 per night during off season, and 20 non hook-up sites at $15 per night. A $2 per night discount applies for Douglas County residents for individual campsites. The group camping area is $200 per night. Reservations for the group camping area can be made at the Douglas County Park Headquarters Office at 541-957-7001, between the hours of 10:00am and 2:00pm, Monday through Friday excluding County holidays. A $10 non-refundable reservation fee will be charged for all reservations.

  • Whistler's Bend Park (541-673-4863) - 2828 Whistler's Park Road, Roseburg, OR 97470 located 15 miles east of Roseburg off Highway 138, has 175 acres and is adjacent to the North Umpqua River. It provides a rustic setting for a diversity of recreational pursuits including fishing, boat launch ramp, playground, picnicking, camping (no hook-ups), hiking and a disc golf course. There are showers and restrooms with 23 “first come - first served” paved sites. Individual sites are $15 per night. A $2 per night discount applies for Douglas County residents for individual campsites. Credit and Debit cards are not accepted at the campground. (Individual campsites are closed during the winter.) There are two reservable group sites available: Group A (30 people) is $50 per night, Group B (100 people) is $100 per night. There are 2 reservable Yurts available at $35 per night. To make reservations for Group camping and the YURTS, please call The Douglas County Park Headquarters Office at 541-957-7001, between the hours of 10:00am and 2:00pm, Monday through Friday excluding County holidays. A $10 non-refundable reservation fee will be charged for all reservations. NOTE: The individual campsites and group camping areas are closed in the winter.

  • Windy Cove A (541-271-4138) - 380 Salmon Harbor Drive, Reedsport OR 97467 located adjacent to Salmon Harbor at Winchester Bay via Hwy 101, 4 miles south of Reedsport. All campsites are “first come - first served”. There are 24 full hook-up sites at: Peak-season $23.00 per night and Off-season $20.00 per night, and 4 non hook-up sites at $15 per night. A $2 per night discount applies for Douglas County residents. VISA and Mastercard are accepted at the campground. Activities available are fishing, crabbing, boating, sand dunes, Umpqua Lighthouse tours and whale watching. Showers and Cable TV are available.

  • Windy Cove B (541-271-5634) - 684 Salmon Harbor Drive, Reedsport OR 97467 located adjacent to Salmon Harbor at Winchester Bay via Hwy 101, 4 miles south of Reedsport. Activities available are fishing, crabbing, boating, sand dunes, Umpqua Lighthouse tours and whale watching. There are 40 full hook-up sites, of which 22 are reservable, and 29 non hook-up sites, of which 8 are reservable. Showers, cable TV and Wi-Fi are included in site fee. Full hook-up sites are: $23 per night Non hook-up sites are $15 per night. A $2 per night discount applies for Douglas County residents. VISA and MasterCard are accepted at the campground. (541-271-5634) - located adjacent to Salmon Harbor at Winchester Bay via Hwy 101, 4 miles south of Reedsport. Activities available are fishing, crabbing, boating, sand dunes, Umpqua Lighthouse tours and whale watching. There are 40 full hook-up sites, of which 22 are reserverable, and 29 non hook-up sites, of which 8 are reservable. Showers and cable TV are available. Hook-up sites are $23 per night during peak-season and $20 per night during off season, and non hook-up sites are $15 per night. A $2 per night discount applies for Douglas County residents. VISA and Mastercard are accepted at the campground.To make reservations for the reservable sites, call the Douglas County Park Department Headquarters office at 541-957-7001, between the hours of 10:00am and 2:00pm, Monday through Friday excluding County holidays.
