Prenatal Clinic

The Douglas County Prenatal Clinic works to improve access to prenatal care for low income women in Douglas County.  Services are provided to improve pregnancy outcomes, increase early prenatal care, and to decrease infant mortality. The Prenatal Clinic is staffed by Registered Nurses, a Nurse Practitioner, and a Certified Nurse Midwife.

Please call 541-440-3521 for more information and appointments.

What is prenatal care?

If you're pregnant or planning to get pregnant, you probably have a lot of questions. The goal of prenatal care is to monitor the progress of a pregnancy and to identify potential problems before they become serious for either mom or baby.

All women need prenatal care. Women who see a health care provider regularly during pregnancy have healthier babies, are less likely to deliver prematurely, and are less likely to have other serious problems related to pregnancy.

What services are available?

  • Assistance with Oregon Health Plan (OHP) application process

Please call 541-440-3521 for more information or referral for these services.
