THE HISTORY OF THE FAIRGROUNDS PAVILION

Since it was built in 1954, the original Douglas County Fairgrounds Pavilion has been visited by well over five million people. It remains the most recognizable building at the County Fairgrounds, a symbol of your region and your community pride.

The 60th Anniversary Campaign aims to restore the Original Fairgrounds Pavilion to its former glory. New paint, windows, roof and exterior features will revive the spirit of the Pavilion when it first opened 60 years ago. Up to date kitchen, bathrooms, bleachers, ventilation and other amenities will make the original Pavilion better than ever.
