The Douglas County Commission on Children & Families
Douglas County’s Commission on
Children and Families is comprised of eleven members, appointed by
the Board of County Commissioners. A majority of
the Commission's members, including the
chairperson, are laypersons and
reflect the county’s diverse populations
and expertise along the full spectrum of developmental stages of a child, from
the prenatal stage through
18 years of age.
