MINUTES of the board meeting of August 27, 2003 to be approved.
PROCLAMATION declaring September 4, 2003 as “United Way Day” in Douglas County.
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
1. Extension of telephone services contract with Prince Telecom, Inc. Term of agreement extended to June 30, 2004.
PUBLIC WORKS
1. Extension and amendment of leachate treatment agreement contract with Roseburg Urban Sanitary Authority. This extends the contract to June 30, 2004 and amends the rate of payment from .045 to .0475 per gallon of leachate.
2. Contract with Tri Pact Construction, Inc. in the amount of $89,379.10 for culvert replacement on Plat “I” Road No. 70.
3. Modification of contract with Pinnacle Engineering, Inc. for grading and landscaping services. Contract not to exceed $27,000.
SHERIFF
1. Communications services agreement with Medcom for use of 911 services. Annual payment is $49,745.62.
MISCELLANEOUS
1. Department of Justice Domestic Preparedness Equipment Program Grant in the amount of $361,000 for equipment needed to connect both UHF and VHF systems.
2. Order appointing Angela Pratt and Anne Jetmore to the Douglas County Library Board. Terms to expire June 30, 2007.
3. Order appointing Lois Soulia to the Douglas County Library Board. Term to expire June 30, 2004.
4. Order appointing Doug Monie to the Douglas County Regional Workforce Investment Board. Term to expire December 31, 2004.
