MINUTES of the Local Contract Review Board of September 17, 2003 to be approved.
ADULT PAROLE AND PROBATION
1. Intergovernmental agreement between the Oregon Department of Corrections and Douglas County for funding of Community Corrections for the 2003-2005 biennium.
BUILDING
1. Application for delegation of electrical program. Currently the electrical code is administered by the State of Oregon. This application is not binding, but gives the county time to decide the proper course of action. The current level of service to customers and whether or not it can be improved upon, and if the current permit revenues will cover expenditures will be considered before proceeding with the delegation process.
CLERK / INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
1. Contract with Helion Software, Inc. for conversion to digital online database of Clerk’s microfilm images from January 1, 1980 through September 30, 2002. Contract price is $59,310. This contract is exempt from competitive process per LCRB 3.7.
2. Renewal of contract with Helion Software Inc. for support of Clerk’s electronic document indexing and additional products purchased. Contract amount is $14,750.
HUMAN RESOURCES
1. Order appointing Hedi Johnston to the Employee Benefits Committee. Term to expire December 31, 2004.
PLANNING
1. Order reappointing Tom Michaels to the South Umpqua Planning Advisory Committee. Term to expire November 29, 2006.
PUBLIC WORKS
1. Amended order accepting easement from Christopher W. and Akacia Nicholls for connection to the Glide-Idleyld Park sewer system. Order previously signed by the board on September 17, 2003 contained an error in the spelling of the grantor’s name.
2. Agreement with Family Development Center, Inc. in the amount of $8,938 for reimbursement of waterline extension.
SHERIFF
1. Agreement with Harney County for their services with home monitoring for our corrections facility. Program is a voice recognition system.
2. Second extension of contract with Saving Grace, Inc., for operation of county animal shelter.
MISCELLANEOUS
1. Order appointing Marc Smith, M.D. to the Emergency Medical Services Advisory Committee. Term to expire September 30, 2006.
