MINUTES of the board meeting of September 14, 2005 to be approved.
BID OPENINGS
1. Extension of South Umpqua Industrial Park Road.
2. Request for quotes for providing septage tanks for the Glide-Idleyld sewerage system.
HEARING
1. Ordinance No. 2005-09-01. Tim Foley request for a comprehensive plan amendment, zone change, and exception.
COMMISSION ON CHILDREN & FAMILIES
1. Amendment No. 1 to the Oregon Commission on Children and Families 2005-2007 county intergovernmental agreement.
FLEET SERVICES
1. Award of bid No. 848 for seven (7) new, full size, four door police type vehicles to Power Ford. Total bid amount is $151,669.
2. Award of bid No. 900 for three (3) new, mid size, four door sedans to Power Chevrolet in the amount of $47,388.
HEALTH AND SOCIAL SERVICES
1. Second modification of contract with LocumTenens.com, LLC for Locum Tenens coverage. Total payment not to exceed $90,000.
LIBRARY
1. Request for approval of price agreement with Ingram Library Services Inc. The prices quoted for materials are based on the Library’s 2004-2005 expenditures.
PARK
1. Modification of intergovernmental agreement between Winchester Bay Rural Fire Protection District and Douglas County for protection for coastal park areas. Modified contract amount will increase $69.62 per year.
PLANNING
1. Order affirming the findings of fact and decision of the Planning Commission in the Paul Farrar Quasi-Judicial amendment to the Douglas County Comprehensive Plan.
2. Order affirming the findings of fact and decision of the Planning Commission in the Tom & Traci Meyer Quasi-Judicial amendment to the Douglas County Comprehensive Plan.
3. Order affirming the findings of fact and decision of the Planning Commission in the Randy C. Ryan Quasi-Judicial amendment to the Douglas County Comprehensive Plan.
4. Order appointing Corvin Maddox to the Calapooya Planning Advisory Committee.
PUBLIC WORKS
1. Award of RFP No. 888 for one, new 19,000 lb class crawler tractor to Central Equipment Company in the amount of $110,050.
2. Orders accepting easements from Barbara Olsen and LeRoy and Lisa Sheldon for connection to the Glide-Idleyld Park sewer system.
3. Contract with Roseburg Paving Company in the amount of $176,856.80 for asphalt overlay of various streets in the Tri-City area.
4. Intergovernmental agreement for improvement of local access road with Moorea Drive Special Road District.
5. Order designating benefited properties subject to assessments for improvements for Moorea Drive Special Road District.
SHERIFF
1. Amendment to interagency agreement for the security exercise for the fall of 2005. This allows for an additional $8,861.76 reimbursement to the county.
