MINUTES of the board meeting of June 2, 2004 to be approved.
PROCLAMATION declaring June 18 and 19, 2004 as Umpqua Valley Roundup Days in Douglas County.
CITIZEN PARTICIPATION - Citizens wishing to address the commissioners concerning this agenda, or items of interest not included on this agenda, may do so at this time. When recognized, anyone addressing the commissioners will go to the microphone and give your name and address for the record.
BID OPENING
1. Storm drain installation for Lookingglass Road.
HEARINGS
1. Ordinance No. 2004-06-01. Request by Michael Phelps and Ronald Rodriguez for a plan amendment to the Douglas County Comprehensive Plan map.
2. Ordinance No. 2004-06-02. Request by Richard Caswell for a plan amendment to the Douglas County Comprehensive Plan map.
LAND
1. Lease with Warren and Margaret DeLaVergne for office space for the Drain Justice Court. Rent is $350 per month for the period of July 1, 2004 through June 30, 2005 and then will increase to $400 per month through June 30, 2009.
PUBLIC WORKS
1. Order accepting easement from Jim R. and Doris Cross Rucker for connection to the Glide-Idleyld Park sewer system.
2. Extension of contract with Sunrise Enterprises for collection of recycled materials from Douglas County transfer sites.
SHERIFF
1. Agreement with Identix for maintenance of the fingerprint machine in Corrections. Annual agreement amount is $7,876.
MISCELLANEOUS
1. Order reappointing Bill Marshall, Les Esparza, Barbara Mathews, and Bonnie Ford to the Douglas County Commission on Children and Families.
2. Order setting hearing date of July 14, 2004 in the matter of a petition by Loi and Jean Chan to annex their property to the Douglas County Livestock District. Property is located on Lower Smith River Road, Reedsport.
