MINUTES of the board meeting of April 27, 2005 to be approved.
REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
1. Procurement of Transmitter Combiner/Receiver Multicoupler system for the emergency radio communications system.
HEARING
1. Second hearing on Ordinance No. 2005-04-01 amending the Douglas County Building Code to implement the electrical delegation rules and making other changes.
CITIZEN PARTICIPATION - Citizens wishing to address the commissioners concerning this agenda, or items of interest not included on this agenda, may do so at this time. When recognized, anyone addressing the commissioners will go to the microphone and give their name and address for the record.
HEALTH & SOCIAL SERVICES
1. Modification of contract with STAT Nurses International, Inc. and the Health Department to continue to provide psychiatric nursing services.
FAIRGROUNDS
1. Contract extension with Durham School Services for fair bus transportation.
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
1. Contract modification with Tiburon Inc. to provide alpha numeric paging capabilities for the dispatch and sheriff’s records management system. Cost is $13,860, and annual maintenance will increase $1,900 per month. Cost will be paid from the 911 budget.
PUBLIC WORKS
1. Order accepting Nehelem Street into the county road system.
2. Order accepting permanent easement from Sharon and Robert Feuerborn.
3. Fourth extension and modification of contract with C.F. Malm Engineers for Galesville Dam.
4. Extension and modification of warranty agreement with C.F. Malm Engineers for the SCADA system. Agreement amount is $7,200.
SHERIFF
1. Agreements with City of Myrtle Creek and City of Roseburg for housing inmates in the jail. Cities will pay $50 per inmate, per day.
2. Modification of agreement for Douglas County to add additional law enforcement assistance for Lemolo, Toketee, Stump Lake and Forebays.
3. Agreement with Bureau of Land Management for Douglas County to provide law enforcement assistance on BLM lands.
4. Extension of agreements for communication services to the following agencies:
Douglas County Fire District No. 2, $23,741.54
Glendale Ambulance Authority, $2,365.84.
City of Myrtle Creek, $56,067.82
North Douglas County Fire & EMS, $10,914.51
City of Roseburg, $198,468.08
Winston Dillard Fire $16,100.43
MISCELLANEOUS
1. Findings of approval for Walker plan amendment.
