PROCLAMATION declaring April 6, 2005 as NATIONAL TARTAN DAY in Douglas County.
PROCLAMATION declaring the month of April 2005 as CHILD ABUSE PREVENTION MONTH in Douglas County.
HEARINGS
1. Annexation of property to the Douglas County Livestock District. Chief petitioners are James & Peggy Liddell.
2. Annexation of property and order incorporating territory to the Douglas County Rural Fire Protection District No. 2. Chief petitioner is Wilson.
3. Annexation of property and order incorporating territory to the Douglas County Rural Fire Protection District No. 2. Chief petitioner is Coffman.
4. Annexation of property and order incorporating territory to the Douglas County Rural Fire Protection District No. 2. Chief petitioner is Gordon.
5. Annexation of property and order incorporating territory to the Douglas County Rural Fire Protection District No. 2. Chief petitioner is Reustle.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
1. First extension of contract with Douglas Services, Inc., for communication transport services. This modifies the contract cap from $25,000 to $50,000, and extends the contract to April 17, 2007.
JUVENILE
1. Application in the amount of $14,434 for Juvenile Accountability Incentive Block Grant. These funds are granted by the federal government and passed through the state. This grant has been received for the previous six fiscal years and has paid a portion of the salary for a deputy district attorney to prosecute juvenile delinquency cases.
LAND
1. Real estate option and order to accept deed from Berniece H. Smith for the acquisition of right of way to be used for the widening and realignment of Manning Road. Consideration is $1,950, plus escrow closing costs.
2. Resolutions declaring that the acquisition of certain properties (Becker Road, North Fork Smith River Road, and Woodruff Road) for three culvert replacement projects is in the public interest.
3. Notice of timber sale setting date of April 28, 2005 for the oral auction of two county timber sales. The two sales are Clear Eel Timber Sale, with an estimated volume of 955,000 board feet, and Joyce Creek Timber Sale with an estimated volume of 1,259,000 board feet.
PLANNING
1. Order and notice setting hearing date of May 11, 2005 for annexation of property to the Green Sanitary District. Chief petitioner is Atterbury.
PUBLIC WORKS
1. Order accepting easement from Western Oregon Conference Association of Seventh Day Adventists for connection to the Glide-Idleyld Park sewer system.
2. Order designating benefited properties subject to assessments for improvement for SE Booth Avenue.
SHERIFF
1. Intergovernmental agreement for transfer of radio equipment to Sutherlin Fire Department.
