BID OPENING
1. Bid No. 823 for steel bridge decking for Hinkle Creek Bridge.
2. Overlay of Tiller Trail Highway from milepost 3.1 to 4.0.
HEARINGS
1. Second reading on Ordinance No. 03-4-3 establishing the Douglas County Veterans Advisory Committee.
ADULT PAROLE AND PROBATION
1. Rental agreement between the City of Drain and Douglas County Community Corrections for office space until a long-term location is obtained.
HEALTH AND SOCIAL SERVICES
1. Intergovernmental agreement between the State of Oregon and Douglas County for the Breast and Cervical Cancer Program and Komen Breast Screening Program to provide timely and appropriate screening and diagnostic services for uninsured or under-insured individuals.
LAND
1. Notice setting date of May 29, 2003 for the oral auction of four county timber sales.
PUBLIC WORKS
1. Order transferring county lands adjacent to the county road right-of-way to the Public Works Department.
2. Contract with Roseburg Paving Company in the amount of $666,195 for overlay of Nonpareil Road No. 19, milepost 1.3 to 4.4.
MISCELLANEOUS
1. Order setting hearing date of June 4, 2003 and notice of public hearing for annexation of property to the Elkton Rural Fire Protection District. Chief petitioner is Kathryn Guentner.
2. Order setting hearing date of June 4, 2003 and notice of public hearing for annexation of property to the Winston-Dillard Water District. Chief petitioner is Richard Castle.
3. Orders reappointing the following Planning Advisory Committee members:
Kenneth VanGordon; Callahan PAC
William Hemphill; North Umpqua PAC
Jeanne Forrest, Tom Malkowski, and Bud Nelson; Roseburg-Green PAC
4. Grant awards for Regional/Rural Investment Fund program for the 1999-2001 and 2001-2003 biennium’s for Bolon Island Dock Project. Total amount is $250,000.
