MINUTES of the board meeting of April 13, 2005 to be approved.
CITIZEN PARTICIPATION - Citizens wishing to address the commissioners concerning this agenda, or items of interest not included on this agenda, may do so at this time. When recognized, anyone addressing the commissioners will go to the microphone and give your name and address for the record.
SPECIAL PRESENTATION to Douglas County Library System for being selected as one of the five outstanding projects of the year with “Ready to Read Funds”.
HEARING
1. Ordinance No. 2005-4-1 amending the Douglas County Building Code to implement the electrical delegation rules and making other changes.
DINT
1. Modification and extension of contract for aviation services with Brim Aviation. Modification increases cost per flight hour from $650 to $680 and extends contract to December 31, 2005.
LAND
1. Real estate option and order to accept deed from Rafael and Jeraline Almontes for the acquisition of right of way to be used for the widening and realignment of Manning Road. Consideration is $4,200, plus escrow costs.
MANAGEMENT AND FINANCE
1. Order transferring appropriations of $10,000 within the Law Library Fund, and $75,000 within the Water Resource Development Fund.
SHERIFF
1. Agreement between Umpqua Community College and the Sheriff’s office for persons in the JOBS program to be able to obtain work experience through the work crew office.
MISCELLANEOUS
1. Order reappointing the following members to the CCD Business Development Corporation Board: Bud Schmidt, Ron Doan, Debbie Caterson, David Van Dermark, Carl Patenode, Dave Sabala, Dave Leonard, Aaron Cubic, and Commissioners Mariliyn Kittelman, Dan Van Slyke and Doug Robertson. Terms to expire May 31, 2006.

CONTINUATION of Walker land use appeal hearing.
