MINUTES of the board meeting of March 19, 2003, to be approved.
BID OPENING
1. Overlay of Pruner Road milepost 0.4 to 0.82.
SPECIAL PRESENTATION to Ireland Trucking and Harlin Slinker for assistance during the February 25th incident in Camas Valley.
ADULT PAROLE AND PROBATION
1. Interagency agreement to manage the Drug Court’s assessment of monies from participants and to control the holding and disposition of those funds.
2. Amendment to the intergovernmental agreement between the State of Oregon Department of Corrections and Douglas County due to falling state revenues.
HUMAN RESOURCES
1. Oregon Dental Services Endorsement #6 to adopt administrative and HIPAA changes. There is no effect to benefits for employees.
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
1. Agreement for on-line access to computerized records to make information accessible to Credit Services of Oregon and eliminate a need to provide copied records. Credit Services agrees to pay a monthly fee for the access.
LAND
1. Order to accept bargain and sale deed for a property being purchased from the State of Oregon. Property is isolated timberland and is located east of Sutherlin. Consideration is $26,000, plus escrow fees.
2. Order dedicating the property being purchased from the State of Oregon as County Forest.
3. Exchange documents between Douglas County and Roseburg Resources Co. for properties located near Reedsport. The property being acquired will be County Forest.
PUBLIC WORKS
1. Real estate option and order accepting a warranty deed from Gary and Evelyn Jones for acquisition of right of way to be used for the widening and realignment of South Calapooia Street. Consideration is $2,311.80.
2. Permanent easement from Gary and Evelyn Jones for perpetual right and easement to construct, maintain, repair and have free access to storm drain improvements. Consideration is $1,088.20.
3. Contract with Roseburg Paving Company for crushing and stockpiling mineral aggregates in central and north county areas. Contract amount is $245,700.
MISCELLANEOUS
1. Order appointing Edward Stratton and Thomas Brian Parkinson to the Douglas County Planning Commission. Terms to expire February 28, 2007.
