MINUTES of the Local Contract Review Board of March 9, 2005 to be approved.

SPECIAL PRESENTATION to Juvenile Department employee, Pat Talarizadeh.

BID OPENING

1. Request for proposals for design and construction plans and specifications for the coastal camping facility included in the approved county/state Lighthouse Park Master Plan.

HEARINGS

1. Annexation of property and order incorporating territory to the Douglas County Rural Fire Protection District No. 2. Chief petitioner is Bogan.

2. Annexation of property and order incorporating territory to the Douglas County Rural Fire Protection District No. 2. Chief petitioner is Harvey.

3. Annexation of property and order incorporating territory to the Douglas County Rural Fire Protection District No. 2. Chief petitioner is Morgan.

COMMISSION ON CHILDREN & FAMILIES

1. Contract amendment in the amount of $27,000 with the Riddle School District for its after school programs.

2. Contract amendment in the amount of $27,000 with the Sutherlin School District for its after school programs.

3. Contract amendment in the amount of $27,000 with the South Western Oregon Community Action Committee Inc., for the Great Afternoons/Reedsport Community Learning Center after school program.

LAND

1. Lease with Rex Morningstar for office space for the Glendale Justice Court. Term of lease is July 1, 2005 to June 30, 2008, and rent is $500 per month.

PLANNING

1. Order accepting irrevocable offer to sell property with waiver of objection to assessment. Property owner is Gary Weiss.



PUBLIC WORKS

1. Order accepting quit claim deed for the acquisition of real property for the widening and realignment of South Calapooia Street with the Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management.

SHERIFF

1. Amendment and extension of agreement with Aramark Correctional Services, Inc. This agreement will be extended to June 30, 2007 and shall reflect an overall 3 percent increase for fiscal year 2005/2006. Aramark will also pay $3,000 on or before July 1, 2005 for improvements to the dining room.

2. Intergovernmental agreements with the City of Myrtle Creek Police Department, and with the City of Sutherlin Police Department, for the transfer of radio equipment.

MISCELLANEOUS

1. Order appointing James Mast to the Douglas County Planning Commission. Term to expire February 28, 2009.

2. Order reappointing Dennis Bragg to the Terrace Drive and Upper Terrace Lane Special Road District. Term to expire December 31, 2007.

3. Order appointing Debora Ruiz and Sunnie Hedden to the Special Transportation Advisory Council. Terms to expire March 23, 2007.

NEXT MEETING: March 30, 2005, at 10:00 a.m., in Room 216 of the Douglas County Courthouse, Roseburg, Oregon.
