MINUTES of the Board meeting held on March 13, 2013
CITIZEN PARTICIPATION ON AGENDA ITEMS ONLY
1. COMMISSION ON CHILDREN & FAMILIES – Personal Services Contract (Gillian Wesenberg)
Personal Services Contract with Janet Carlson to provide technical assistance in evaluating, developing and monitoring CCF programs. Contract not to exceed $30,000.00.
2. DINT – Contract with Brim Aviation (Pat Moore)
Contract with Brim Aviation for Helicopter Charter Services for Aerial Reconnaissance of Illegal Drug Activities. Cost: $850.00/hour (includes fuel truck) $595.00/daily ferry rate.
3. MANAGEMENT & FINANCE – Contract Extension (Sandee Correll)
Third Contract Extension with Kenneth Kuhns & Co. for Municipal Audit Services. Rate for Fiscal Year 2012/13: $60,755.00 plus expenses (same rate since Fiscal Year 2008/09). Rate for Fiscal Year 2013/14 and 2014/15: $62,575.00 plus expenses (3% increase).
4. PUBLIC WORKS – Bargain and Sale Deed (Robb Paul)
Bargain and Sale Deed to Elkton Estates Phase II Special Road District.
5. PUBLIC WORKS – Order Setting Hearing (Robb Paul)
Order Setting Hearing on Vacation of a portion of Ada County Road No. 49A as May 8, 2013.
6. SHERIFF – Contract Extension (John Hanlin)
Twelfth Contract extension between Douglas County and Rex Morningstar for the lease of office space in Glendale. Cost is $365.00 per year.

The next regularly scheduled Board meeting will be held March 27, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. in Room 216 of the Douglas County Courthouse, Roseburg, OR.
