MINUTES of the board meeting of February 16, 2005 to be approved.

BID OPENINGS
1. Request for proposals for design of coastal camping facility on the forested dune deflation plan, west of the Umpqua River Lighthouse.
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
1. Order to purchase laptops with docking station from Dell Computers for the Community Health Department. Purchase is being made through the Oregon Cooperative Purchasing Program. Total purchase amount is $36,532.77.
PARK
1. Approval of temporary and permanent easements on an undeveloped portion of park land (Honey Creek). The easements will allow Oregon Department of Transportation to replace two culverts under the North Umpqua Highway with a bridge in order to improve fish passage.
PLANNING
1. Order and notice setting hearing date of March 23, 2005 for annexation of three properties to the Douglas County Fire Protection District No. 2. These are 100 percent property owner petitions and there are no known objectors.
2. Order accepting irrevocable offer to sell property with waiver of objection to assessment. Property owners are Lyle Rowsey and Vivian Reed-Rowsey.
PUBLIC WORKS
1. Intergovernmental agreement with S.E. Booth Avenue Special Road District for improvement of local access road.
2. Award of Bid No. 880 for two, new 4–6 ton static, double drum, material compacting rollers.
3. Order accepting easement from Cornelius and Deidra Plooy for connection to the Glide-Idleyld Park sewer system.
4. Order granting vacation of a portion of S.W. Blake Avenue in Meadowbrook subdivision upon performance or fulfillment of conditions. Petitioners are Floyd and Carol Poland, LTM, Inc.
MISCELLANEOUS
1. Order reappointing Jon McAmis, Deb Lightcap, and Chuck Schnautz to the Douglas County Regional Workforce Investment Board. Terms to expire December 31, 2006.
2. Order appointing Jerry Waybrandt (term to expire January 31, 2008) and Debra Ruiz (term to expire January 31, 2007) to the Douglas County Mental Health Advisory Committee.
