MINUTES of the board meeting of February 9, 2005 to be approved.

BID OPENINGS
1. Bid No. 886 for one, new ½ ton, four door, four wheel drive sports utility.
2. Bid No. 887 for one, new full size, ½ ton, four wheel drive pick up with short-wide box and extended cab.
HEARINGS
1. Petition to annex property to the Calapooia Rural Fire Protection District. Chief petitioner is Black.
2. Petition to annex property to the Calapooia Rural Fire Protection District. Chief petitioner is Hillman.
3. Petition to annex property to the Oakland Rural Fire Protection District. Chief petitioner is McLean.
4. Petition to annex property to the Calapooia Rural Fire Protection District. Chief petitioner is Harper.
5. Petition to annex property to the Douglas County Rural Fire Protection District. Chief petitioner is Peckham.
6. Petition to annex property to the Oakland Rural Fire Protection District. Chief petitioner is Hubert Sigl.
PLANNING
1. Order and notice setting hearing date of March 16, 2005 for annexation of 23 properties to the Douglas County Fire Protection District No. 2. These are 100 percent property owner petitions and there are no known objectors.
2. Orders reappointing Yvonne Turner to the South Umpqua Planning Advisory Committee and Ginger Floto to the Cow Creek Planning Advisory Committee. Terms to expire November 21, 2007.
3. Orders appointing Victoria Hawks and Michelle DeAngleles to the Callahan Planning Advisory Committee and Amber Johnson to the South Umpqua Planning Advisory Committee. Terms to expire February 16, 2008.
PUBLIC WORKS
1. Order accepting completion of contract with C2S Group, LLC for intersection reconstruction Elkton – Sutherlin Hwy. 38 at Fort McKay Road. Contract amount is $528,224.86.
SHERIFF
1. Agreement with Bureau of Land Management for forestry workcrew to work on BLM property. BLM will pay $95,000 to county through Title II funding.
MISCELLANEOUS
1. Decision on the Great American Properties land use appeal.
