Refund of property tax to Cascade Utilities, Inc. pursuant to Department of Revenue Order.

7. FLEET – Order Awarding (Mike Blanck)
Order Authorizing Purchase of one (1) new mid-sized front end loader from Pape Machinery of Eugene, Oregon under the Houston-Galveston Area Council (HGAC) cooperative purchasing contract. Douglas County is authorized to purchase from the HGAC contract and this purchase is exempt from competitive bidding. Purchase is for the Public Works Landfill Operations Department.
Cost: $274,410.59.

8. HEALTH – Payment of Sub-Award Agreement (Paul Meyer)
Acknowledgment of receipt of first payment for Sub-Award Agreement with Health Care Coalition of Southern Oregon for Eliminating Disparities in Perinatal Health. Revenue: $16,400.00.

9. MISCELLANEOUS – Appointment (Keith Cubic)
The Emergency Medical Services Committee advises the Board on issues related to ambulance services in Douglas County. It is a nine member committee with specific membership categories. One vacancy exists for a professional who represents a fire department. An open recruitment was conducted and two applications were received.

12. ADJOURNMENT AND NEXT MEETING
The next regularly scheduled Board meeting will be held January 7, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. in Room 216 of the Douglas County Courthouse, Roseburg, OR.

 

Douglas County may audio/video record the proceedings of this meeting for future broadcast or other purposes. A copy of any audio/video recording is available upon written request made to the Information Technology department. Cost is $5 per cd/dvd copy plus $2 shipping costs.
