MINUTES - Approval of the Minutes of December 23, 2015

1. JUSTICE COURTS Contract Extension (Paul Meyer)
Second extension of Contract No. 28615 with Chaves Consulting for Municipal and Justice Court information computing software. Cost for 2016: $15,727.20.

2. LAND Bargain and Sale Deeds (Gary Groth)
On December 15, 2015, Douglas County Land Department conducted an oral auction of six County owned parcels of real property acquired through property foreclosure and one County owned surplus property. Following is the Bargain & Sale Deeds being issued for the real property parcels that sold at the auction:
-- Arthur and Monika Dillahay (510 Willis Avenue, Glendale OR) $19,000.00
-- Arthur and Monika Dillahay (463 N. 13th Street, Reedsport OR) $42,000.00
-- Arthur and Monika Dillahay (1890 Cedar Avenue, Reedsport OR) $30,000.00
-- South Rivers, LLC (243 W. Second Avenue, Riddle OR) $25,000.00
-- Danny Lang (626 Prescott Avenue, Oakland OR) $27,000.00
-- Bruce Cully Moore & Michelle Owen (0 Williams Road, Yoncalla OR) $89,000.00
-- John and Mary Lou Argo (0 Wilson-Collins Road, Roseburg OR) $24,000.00

3. PUBLIC HEALTH Medicaid Administrative Claiming Invoice for IGA No. 142372 (Dr. Dannenhoffer)
Invoice for the 50% match requirements for a contract with the State of Oregon. Match amount for Spring Quarter 2015 is $9,350.26.

4. MISCELLANEOUS Quit Claim Deed (Paul Meyer)
Releases reversionary clause in original deed to property so that current property owner may sell it. To be executed and recorded contemporaneously with covenant that property is to be used for industrial purposes only.

5. MISCELLANEOUS Covenant with Umpqua Resources Group, LLC (Paul Meyer)
Substitute for currently existing deed reversionary clause providing that property owned by covenanter, Umpqua Resources Group, LLC, will be used for industrial purposes only. To be executed and recorded contemporaneously with quitclaim deed releasing deed reversionary clause

6. MISCELLANEOUS Appointments to Road District (Commissioner Morgan)
Three vacancies exist on the Standley Estates Special Road District due to two expired terms and the resignation of Edward Kahl. Jake Szympruch and Ron Card would like to be reappointed to new terms that would end December 31, 2018. Tom Edwards would like to be appointed to the vacant position with a term ending December 31, 2017.

9. ADJOURNMENT AND NEXT MEETING
The next regularly scheduled Board meeting will be held January 6, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. in Room 216 of the Douglas County Courthouse, Roseburg, OR. The meeting is available via Video Conferencing to Reedsport citizens at the Reedsport Annex, 680 Fir Street, Reedsport, OR.


 

Douglas County may audio/video record the proceedings of this meeting for future broadcast or other purposes. A copy of any audio/video recording is available upon written request made to the Information Technology department. Cost is $5 per cd/dvd copy plus $2 shipping costs.
