1. BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS – Appointing Directors (Paul Meyer)
Order appointing the initial At-Large Directors of the Umpqua Economic Development Partnership, Inc. Appointing Susan Buell and Neal Brown.
2. LAND – Extension of Contract (Gary Groth)
First extension of Forest Stand Improvement Contract with Santos Reforestation Inc. Extends contract through January 31, 2012.
3. MISCELLANEOUS - Appointments/Reappointments to Hospital Facility Authority Board
Four vacancies exist on the Hospital Authority Board due to expired terms. The positions were advertised with Douglas County media and two applications were received. The Board recommends the reappointment of Mel Cheney and the appointment of David Cunningham to terms that would end December 31, 2014.
4. MISCELLANEOUS – Reappointments to the Veterans Advisory Committee (Peggy Madison)
Five vacancies exist on the Veterans Advisory Committee due to expired terms. The positions were advertised with Douglas County media and thirteen applications were received. The Committee recommends the reappointment of Michael Hendricks, Richard Sciapiti, Jim Little, Tim Rogers, and Eric Swanson to terms that would end December 31, 2013.
5. MISCELLANEOUS – Order Amending and Appointment to Water Resources Advisory Board (Robb Paul)
Order amending the Water Resources Advisory Board from 8 voting members to 7. One vacancy exists on the Water Resources Advisory Board due to an expired term. The position was advertised with Douglas County media and two applications were received. The Board recommends the appointment of Blair Nash to a term that would end December 21, 2013.
6. MISCELLANEOUS – Appointment to Sable Drive Road District
A vacancy exists on the Sable Drive Road District due to the expiring term of Colleen Hamilton. Michael Stansbury would like to be appointed to a term that will expire December 31, 2014.

The next regularly scheduled Board meeting will be held January 4, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. in Room 216 of the Douglas County Courthouse, Roseburg, OR.
