MINUTES of the board meeting of December 15, 2004 to be approved.

BID OPENING
1. Bid No. 881 for one new, heavy-duty ¾ ton, 2 wheel drive, standard cab with service body and overhead ladder rack.
HEARING
1. Annexation of property to the Green Sanitary District. Chief petitioners are Clayton and Jessica Ruble.
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
1. Order awarding contracts and authorizing purchase for mobile laptop PC’s, vehicle mounting hardware and connectivity software to CDW-G in the amount of $352,231.70 and Datec, Inc. in the amount of $17,371.15.
LAND
1. Tree planting agreement with Rye Tree Service, Inc. for the planting of ± 17,000 seedlings of two units of county owned property in the Reedsport area. Bid price is $240 per thousand seedlings planted.
PLANNING
1. Order accepting irrevocable offer to dedicate with waiver of objection to assessment as a condition of approval for a land partition. Property owners are Marvin and Janet Husen.
PUBLIC WORKS
1. Amendment to contract with Oregon Department of Transportation in the amount of approximately $110,000 for Elkton-Sutherlin Highway at Fort McKay.
2. Real estate option and order accepting a warranty deed from Meredith Fenton, Barbara Fenton, Carlan Bratton Jr., Irene Bratton, Richard Forney, and Sharon Forney for the acquisition of real property for the widening and realignment of South Calapooia Street. Consideration is $4,527.
3. Real estate option and order accepting a warranty deed from Meredith Fenton, Barbara Fenton, Carlan Bratton Jr., and Irene Bratton for the acquisition of real property for the widening and realignment of South Calapooia Street. Consideration is $5,473.
4. Order granting vacation of a portion of Melrose County Road. Petitioners are George and Alice Crocker, Patsy Berry, Donald and Carol Vredenburg, and Knute Kershner.
5. Order granting vacation of a portion of Champagne Court. Petitioner is Terry True.
MISCELLANEOUS
1. Order appointing D. R. Johnson to the Douglas County Budget Committee. Term to expire June 30, 2007.
2. Order appointing D. R. Johnson to the Douglas County Compensation Board. Term to expire June 30, 2007.
3. Order appointing Candace Hissong as South Douglas District Justice of the Peace Pro Tempore for the period of January 1, 2005 through December 31, 2005.
4. Order appointing Carol Roberts as Glendale District Justice of the Peace Pro Tempore for the time period of January 1, 2005 through December 31, 2005.
