CITIZEN COMMENTS ON AGENDA ITEMS ONLY
1. FAIRGROUNDS – License for Monte Carlo
The Fairgrounds is planning to host a Poker Tournament. Proceeds will be used for building repairs.
2. HEALTH AND SOCIAL SERVICES – ADA Paratransit Plan
Approval of the Special Transportation Advisory Committee’s (STAC) recommendation for the Adoption of the ADA Paratransit Plan for Umpqua Transit, U-Trans.
3. PLANNING – Planning Advisory Committee (PAC) Reappointment
Three membership terms on the Calapooya PAC have expired. George Seonbuchner, Judith Bacon & Roger Johnson have received recommendation for reappointment to the Calapooya PAC from the Committee for Citizen Involvement. One membership on the Cow Creek PAC has expired. Ginger Floto has received recommendation for reappointment to the Cow Creek PAC from the Committee for Citizen Involvement. One membership term has expired on the South Umpqua PAC. Yvonne Turner has received recommendation for reappointment to the South Umpqua PAC from the Committee for Citizen Involvement.
4. PUBLIC WORKS – Obligations Agreement
Obligations Agreement between Douglas County, Douglas County, Inc. and Back Nine Development, LLC for I-5: Del Rio Road/Winchester Interchange – Bundle 357 Project.
5. PUBLIC WORKS – Order Accepting Donation Deed
Order accepting Donation Deed from Back Nine Development, LLC for the widening and realignment of Del Rio County Road No. 115.
6. PUBLIC WORKS – Order Accepting Permanent Easement
Order accepting Permanent Easement from Back Nine Development, LLC for the widening and realignment of Del Rio County Road No. 115.
7. PUBLIC WORKS – Order Accepting Donation Deed
Order accepting Donation Deed from Douglas County, Inc. for the widening and realignment of Del Rio County Road No. 115.
8. PUBLIC WORKS – Order Accepting Permanent Easement
Order accepting Permanent Easement from Douglas County, Inc. for the widening and realignment of Del Rio County Road No. 115.
9. PUBLIC WORKS – Order Awarding Bid #996
Bid #996 for two (2) new self-propelled mid mount power brooms with a cab was opened at a regularly scheduled Board of Commissioners meeting on December 1, 2010. Bids were reviewed and compared with the Oregon State Price Agreement. Pape’ Machinery, Inc. was the lowest responsive bidder. Total cost for (2) is $86,600.00.
10. TREASURER – Order Appointing Treasurer
Order appointing James Rudolph, as Douglas County Treasurer, is effective January 8, 2011. He will replace Sam Huff who retires on January 7, 2011.
11. MISCELLANEOUS – Order Appointing a Drain District Justice of the Peace Pro Tempore
Order appointing Steve Miller, Candace Hissong, and Trissie Penland as Drain District Justice of the Peace Pro Tempore, for Russell Trump, Drain Justice of the Peace, in case of temporary absence or other incapacity. Order effective from January 1, 2011 through December 31, 2011.

The next regularly scheduled Board of Commissioners meeting will be held December 22, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. in Room 216 of the Douglas County Courthouse, Roseburg, OR.
