CITIZEN PARTICIPATION FOR COMMENTS ON AGENDA ITEMS ONLY
1. PUBLIC HEARING – Annexation of Property (Keith Cubic)
Hearing for Annexation of property to Douglas County Fire District No. 2. Chief Petitioner: VOSS.
2. PUBLIC HEARING – Annexation of Property (Keith Cubic)
Hearing for Annexation of property to Douglas County Fire District No. 2. Chief Petitioner: ANDERSEN-REYNOLDS.
3. ASSESSOR – Tax Refunds (Susan Acree)
Orders refunding taxes to: Northwest Ridgeway Village LLC ($5,270.42).
4. COMMISSION ON CHILDREN AND FAMILIES – Revision of Medicaid Intergovernmental Agreement (Gillian Wesenberg)
A revised 2011-2013 Medicaid Intergovernmental Agreement between the Oregon Commission on Children and Families and Douglas County allows for the reimbursement of allowable Medicaid administrative expenses up to $50,000. Douglas County must pay administrative fees and match 50% of the reimbursement it receives. Two language revisions were also made.
5. COMMISSION ON CHILDREN & FAMILIES – Amendment to Intergovernmental Agreement (Gillian Wesenberg)
Amendment #1 to the 2011-2013 IGA between the Oregon Commission on Children and Families and Douglas County which includes two year allocations for all funding streams except for Healthy Start allotment of funding is for fiscal year 2011-12. This Amendment adds $9,484 of state general funds for the Riddle Community School.
6. HEALTH AND SOCIAL SERVICES – Contract for Copy Machine Lease (Peggy Madison)
Order awarding contract for RFP 014 Lease and Maintenance for Health Department Copy Machines. Estimated expense for four year term is $32,160.
7. INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY – Assignment and Amendment to Contract No. 19074 (Kevin Potter)
The County has a lease agreement for “Hedden Ridge” radio communications facility site with Roseburg Resources Co (Contract #19074), dated November 30, 2003. Roseburg Resources Co. seeks to amend the original contract and assign Rome Creek Timber, LLC as Lessor under the contract.
8. MISCELLANEOUS – Order Appointing Drain District Justice of the Peace Pro Tempore (Paul Meyer)
Order appointing Steve Miller, Candace Hissong, and Trissie Penland as Drain Justice of the Peace Pro Tempore in the temporary absence or other incapacity of Drain Justice of the Peace, Russell G. Trump.
9. MISCELLANEOUS – Extension of Grant Agreement with Oregon Wave Energy Trust (Ron Yockim)
Extension of the Oregon Wave Energy Trust Grant Agreement to February 15, 2012 to allow time for project completion.
