MINUTES of the board meeting of October 29, 2003 to be approved.
MINUTES of the board meeting of November 12, 2003 to be approved.
BID OPENINGS
1. Bid No. 837 for five, new 50 cubic yard drop boxes.
2. Bid No. 840 for one, new ½ ton, 4 door, 4 wheel drive sports utility.
3. Crushing and stockpiling mineral aggregates in the central county area.
PUBLIC WORKS
1. Order accepting easement from Joseph Michael McCord for connection to the Glide-Idleyld Park sewer system.
2. Order awarding bid No. 833 to Power Ford for four, new ¾ ton, two wheel drive pickups with long wide box and standard cab. Contract amount is $64,660.
3. Cooperative Agreement with U.S. Geological Survey for Douglas County’s stream gage collection program. Cooperative funds are matched by U.S. Gological Survey.
4. Contract change order No. 2 with Roseburg Paving Company in the amount of $57,945 for reconstruction of NE Stephens Street and construction of Non-Profit Campus spur road for long term access improvement.
SHERIFF
1. Contract agreement with Ace Communication Services, Inc. for outdoor generators for the new communications system. Total purchase amount is $42,978.
2. Contract agreement with Peterson Machinery Co. for generators with external tanks for the new communications system. Total purchase amount is $67,651.
MISCELLANEOUS
1. Order reappointing Gerald Bacon and Larry Moulton to the Douglas County Historic Resource Review Committee. Terms to expire December 23, 2007.
