6. INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY – Lease Agreement (Sean Fallon)
Non-Exclusive Lease Agreement between Douglas County and the Bureau of Land Management, Northwest Oregon and Coos Bay District, for the use of the premises, facilities, equipment, and service at the lessor’s Roman Nose Wireless Communications Facility Site. Lessee will pay rent for FY1718 in the amount of $3,123.87; thereafter, a 3% annual increase in rent will be applied throughout the duration of this agreement.

7. PLANNING – Contract Revision (Keith Cubic)
Contract Revision between Douglas County and the City of Sutherlin. Revises contract to reduce county services provided due to the City of Sutherlin staffing their own planning specialists.

8. PLANNING – Public Hearing (Keith Cubic)
Public Hearing for the Annexation of property and “Order Incorporating Territory” to the Douglas County Fire District No. 2 (Chief Petitioner: Martin).

9. PUBLIC WORKS – License Agreement (Scott Adams)
License Agreement between Douglas County and Central Oregon & Pacific Railroad, Inc to allow Douglas County to install, maintain, operate, use and remove a metal pipe with antenna and solar panel on Railroad property in order to relay train movement information to our Train-Activated Advance Warning Device (TAAWD) on Riddle Bypass Road.

10. SHERIFF – Contract Amendment (John Hanlin)
Contract amendment between Douglas County and Summit Food Service, LLC (formerly Consolidated Food Management). Contract formalizes company name change only. All other terms remain unchanged.

11. SHERIFF – Intergovernmental Agreement Extension (John Hanlin)
Eleventh Extension of the Intergovernmental Agreement between Douglas County and City of Drain for patrol services for FY17-18 in the amount of $125,296.11. Term extended to June 30, 2018.

12. SOLID WASTE – Board Order (Tom Manton)
Board Order rejecting lowest bid pursuant to OAR 137-049-0350(3) and awarding contract to next lowest bidder, DTS, Inc. d/b/a Southern Oregon Water Wells.

15. ADJOURNMENT AND NEXT MEETING
The next regularly scheduled Board meeting will be held November 1, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. in Room 216 of the Douglas County Courthouse, Roseburg, OR. The meeting is available via Video Conferencing to Reedsport citizens at the Reedsport Annex, 680 Fir Street, Reedsport, OR.

 

Douglas County may audio/video record the proceedings of this meeting for future broadcast or other purposes. A copy of any audio/video recording is available upon written request made to the Information Technology department. Cost is $5 per cd/dvd copy plus $2 shipping costs.
