MINUTES of the board meeting of October 15, 2003 to be approved.
BID OPENINGS
1. Bid No. 832 for one, one-ton, standard cab, two wheel drive, cab & chassis with 60” cab to axle & dual rear wheels.
2. Bid No. 835 for one new trailer mounted straw blower.
COMMISSION ON CHILDREN AND FAMILIES
1. Contract with Umpqua Community Action Network in the amount of $15,228.75 for the period of October 1, 2003 through June 30, 2004. This contract is to administer the Douglas County Community Safety Net program.
2. Contract with Arc of Douglas County. The contract amount is $3,600 for fiscal year 2003-04.
FLEET SERVICES
1. Order awarding Bid No. 836 to Interstate Manufacturing, Inc. in the amount of $55,691.10 for one new walking floor refuse transfer trailer.
HEALTH AND SOCIAL SERICES
1. Agreement between Douglas County and Winston-Dillard School District to facilitate interagency cooperation related to providing mental health treatment in the schools.
2. Clinic provider agreement between Douglas County and Douglas County Individual Practice Association, Inc. (DCIPA) to provide covered services to enrollees.
MANAGEMENT & FINANCE
1. Contract with Neopost, Inc. for postage meter rental. Contract locks in rental rate at $60 per month until June 30, 2008 and includes six months free rental. Total cost is $3,240.
PUBLIC WORKS
1. Order accepting Beach Boulevard, road No. 87-A as a county road.
SHERIFF
1. Agreement with U.S. Department of Agriculture for assistance of wildlife services pertaining to predatory animals for the period of July 1, 2003 through June 30, 2004.
