4. FLEET SERVICES – Bid Opening (Robb Paul)
Bid #104 opening for one (1) new full-size, 1/2 ton, four wheel drive extra cab pickup with a short wide bed for the Sheriff’s Department, Animal Control.

5. *Item Stricken* COMMISSIONERS – Grant Agreement (Commissioner Boice)
Grant Agreement between Douglas County and Umpqua Economic Development Partnership for the purpose of a feasibility study for a hotel on the Roseburg Country Club property. County shall contribute up to $20,500 to the project from the Industrial Development Fund.

6. INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY – Order Authorizing Purchase (Kevin Potter)
Order to approve the purchase of an advanced data storage system for County operations for the purpose of replacing current systems that have reached the end of life. Total Cost: $45,604.75.

7. PLANNING – Hearing for Annexation of property and Order Incorporating Territory. (Keith Cubic)
Hearing for Annexation of property and Order Incorporating Territory to the Green Sanitary District. (Chief Petitioner: Speedway LLC)

8. PLANNING – Hearing for Annexation of property and Order Incorporating Territory. (Keith Cubic)
Hearing for Annexation of property and Order Incorporating Territory to the Glide Rural Fire District. (Chief Petitioner: NARALTO LLC)

9. PUBLIC WORKS – Grant Agreement (Robb Paul)
Grant Agreement with Douglas County Industrial Development Board for $12,000 to help fund the Small Business Development Center and Small Business Management Program at Umpqua Community College.

10. PUBLIC WORKS – Order Accepting Completion of Contract (Robb Paul)
Order Accepting Completion of Contract with Gage It Construction, LLC. for Guardrail Repairs, Douglas County, Oregon. Total amount of Contract: $69,370.50.

11. PUBLIC WORKS – Order Accepting Completion of Contract (Robb Paul)
Order Accepting Completion of Contract with LTM, Inc., dba Knife River Materials for Reconstruction of Old Highway 99S Shady to Highway 42. The Contract has been completed and all requirements have been met. Total amount of Contract: $3,031,131.16.

12. SENIOR SERVICES – Review and Approval of the Area Agency on Aging Plan (Jeanne Wright)
Request Approval of the 2017-2020 Area Agency on Aging (AAA) three-year plan. Plan for delivery of Federal Older American Act (OAA) and State funding for Years 2017-2020.

The next regularly scheduled Board meeting will be held October 26, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. in Room 216 of the Douglas County Courthouse, Roseburg, OR. The meeting is available via Video Conferencing to Reedsport citizens at the Reedsport Annex, 680 Fir Street, Reedsport, OR.

 

Douglas County may audio/video record the proceedings of this meeting for future broadcast or other purposes. A copy of any audio/video recording is available upon written request made to the Information Technology department. Cost is $5 per cd/dvd copy plus $2 shipping costs.
