HEARINGS: 198.855(3) Planning
1. Hearing for Annexation of Property and Order Incorporating Territory to the Douglas County Fire District No. 2. Chief Petitioner: Johnson. There are no known objectors at this time. This will be the only hearing. No other hearings are necessary.
2. Hearing for Annexation of Property and Order Incorporating Territory to the Douglas County Fire District No. 2. Chief Petitioner: Miele. There are no known objectors at this time. This will be the only hearing. No other hearings are necessary.
3. Hearing for Annexation of Property and Order Incorporating Territory to the Douglas County Fire District No. 2. Chief Petitioner: Perham. There are no known objectors at this time. This will be the only hearing. No other hearings are necessary.

HEALTH AND SOCIAL SERVICES
1. Intergovernmental Agreement with the City of Roseburg wherein the City agrees to contribute funds of $75,000 for FY 08/09 for operation of the Umpqua Transit transportation system. 1/12 funds to be retained by County and remainder will be passed through to Umpqua Transit contracted operator UCAN.
2. Intergovernmental Agreement with Umpqua Community College wherein the college agrees to contribute funds of $15,000 for FY 08/09 for operation of the Umpqua Transit transportation system. 1/12 funds to be retained by County and remainder will be passed through to Umpqua Transit contracted operator UCAN.
3. Personal Services Contract with William T. Hollander dba Integrated Women’s Health Care Associates in the amount of (not to exceed) $52,000 for prenatal and post-partum care.
LAND
1. Lease with Umpqua Community Action Network for office space in the Courthouse for Umpqua Transit. Term of lease is one year and rent is $850 per month.
PUBLIC WORKS
1. Contract with Laskey-Clifton Corporation in the amount of $83,854 for Salmon Harbor Pedestrian Bridge No. 20361, Winchester Bay, OR.
2. Award and Contract of RFP #961 to Peterson Machinery in the amount of (and not to exceed) $400,402.17 for the complete rebuild / recondition of an 836G Landfill Compactor.
3. Change Order No. 1 with Carter & Company, Inc., in the amount of $29,420.21 for construction of North Umpqua River (Brown) Detour Bridge.

4 Order authorizing purchase of (4) new landfill compactor wheels (Bid 962) to Caron Compactor Co. in the amount of $111,072 (net cost with trade-in).
SHERIFF
1. Intergovernmental agreement to provide the County with ARES communications equipment. This equipment enhances the County emergency communications should routine systems fail.
2. Modification of Intrado renewal contract in the amount of $75,000 for the Reverse 911 warning system set up to notify citizens of tsunami or Galesville Dam failure.
