ELECTION of chairperson for the board of commissioners for 2004.
MINUTES of the board meeting of December 31, 2003 to be approved.
PRESENTATION by Roy Swift on annual report of STEP Program in Gardiner.
HEALTH AND SOCIAL SERVICES
1. Termination of the Transportation Safety Project agreement, effective as of September 30, 2003. The Transportation Safety Division of the Oregon Department of Transportation and Douglas County mutually agree to terminate the agreement. Douglas County will not be required to pay or repay any penalty or other cost for not completing the third year of the contemplated three year project, including but not limited to, any payment of match funds or return of grant funds.
JUVENILE
1. Amended intergovernmental agreement between the Oregon Youth Authority (OYA) and Douglas County for transport and “flex fund” support. This agreement provides reimbursement to Douglas County for expenses related to transporting OYA committed youth and “flex fund” spending to keep Douglas County youth offenders out of OYA custody. Total allocation for this fiscal budget year is $7,700.
SHERIFF
1. Contract with Ace Communication Systems, Inc. for general construction of 911 Communications Project. Contract amount is $527,130.
MISCELLANEOUS
1. Order reappointing Bob Kerns to the Upper Cleveland Rapids Road District Board. Term to expire December 31, 2006.
