PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
MINUTES of the Board meeting held on September 12, 2012
CITIZEN PARTICIPATION FOR COMMENTS ON AGENDA ITEMS ONLY
1. ASSESSOR & TAX -- Tax Refund (Susan Acree)
Property tax refund to Stephen James, dba Stephen James Construction in the amount of $6,257.46.
2. INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY – Contract Modification/Extension (Kevin Potter)
Third Contract extension and modification with Paul Ellis dba Ellis Electric for consulting related to the 911 Communications System. Contract extends to November 30, 2013 and the rate increases from $50.00 per hour to $80.00 per hour.
3. INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY – Contract Modification/Extension (Kevin Potter)
Third Contract extension and modification with Engelbrecht Communications for microwave radio repair related to the 911 Communications System. Contract extends to October 31, 2013 and the rate increases from $50.00 per hour to $80.00 per hour.
4. LAND – Memorandum of Understanding (Gary Groth)
Memorandum of Understanding between Douglas County and the Oregon State Police regarding the remodeling of the former Parks Department facility at Winchester. The County will remodel the facility and then lease the space to the Oregon State Police. Revenue to the County initially will be $10,000.00 per month.
5. PUBLIC WORKS – Location Agreement (Robb Paul)
Location Agreement with Tipping Point Productions, LLC for use of premises at Galesville Dam and Reservoir to film the production entitled “Night Moves.” Revenue to the County is $2,000.00 per shoot day.

The next regularly scheduled Board meeting will be held September 26, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. in Room 216 of the Douglas County Courthouse, Roseburg, OR.
