APPROVAL OF MINUTES: September 8, 2010
CITIZEN COMMENTS ON AGENDA ITEMS ONLY
1. LIBRARY – Contract Modification with OCLC
First modification to the contract with OCLC Computer Library Center Inc. The modification will terminate the cataloging subscription and a proportionate adjustment to the price will be made. OCLC will continue to provide essential support for interlibrary loan service. Fees will be approximately $665.00 and are included in the approved budget.
2. PUBLIC WORKS – Contract Amendment with Jones & Stokes
Third amendment to contract with Jones & Stokes Associates, Inc. for mitigation monitoring and report of the Wildlife Safari Wetland mitigation site. The amendment increases the payment cap from $25,000.00 to $30,000.00.
3. PUBLIC WORKS – Joint Funding Agreement with the U.S. Department of the Interior, U.S. Geological Survey
Joint funding agreement between Douglas County and the U.S. Department of the Interior, U.S. Geological Survey to provide water resources investigations. The total cost to the County is $141,220 per year.
4. PUBLIC WORKS – Order Establishing a “No Parking” Restriction
Order establishing a “No Parking” Restriction on County owned portion of the Costco parking lot.
5. PUBLIC WORKS – Customer Requested Work Agreement with Pacific Power
Customer requested Work Agreement with Pacific Power in the amount of $75,307.00 for removal of (3) three poles and installation of (5) five poles to accommodate the new Del Rio Road realignment north of 388 Del Rio Road.
6. PUBLIC WORKS – Contract with Pinnacle Western, Inc.
Contract with Pinnacle Western, Inc. in the amount not to exceed $194,386.50 for Joe Hall Creek Bridge replacement engineering services.
7. MISCELLANEOUS – Contract Modification with Ronald S. Yockim
Fourth contract modification with Ronald S. Yockim, Attorney, to increase the rate of reimbursement for mileage from 37.5 cents per mile to 50 cents per mile.
