CITIZEN COMMENTS ON AGENDA ITEMS ONLY
1. PUBLIC WORKS – Bid Opening
Bid opening for Clearlake Avenue (County Road #87C) storm drain replacement: Sixth Street to Seventh Street, Winchester Bay, Douglas County, Oregon.
2. PUBLIC WORKS – Order Granting Vacation of Property
Order granting Vacation of Property without a hearing for portions of various streets and alleys in the town of Scottsburg.
3. PUBLIC WORKS – Extension of Contract
First extension of Contract No. 25423 with I.E. Engineering, Inc. The cap has increased to not exceed $50,000.
4. MISCELLANEOUS – Reappointment to the Hospital Facility Authority Board
Three vacancies exist on the Hospital Facility Authority Board of Douglas County due to the expired terms of Robert Ragon, Paul Utz and Sharon Stewart. The positions were advertised with Douglas County media and two applications were received. Robert Ragon and Paul Utz would like to be reappointed to a new term ending March 9, 2013.
5. MISCELLANEOUS – Reappointment to the Roaring Camp Special Road District
Three vacancies exist on the Roaring Camp Special Road District due to expired terms of Ronald Hicks, Rosanna Hicks and Jan Kelley who would like to be reappointed. There are no other interested parties on Roaring Camp Lane that would like to serve on the Road District. The new terms would be: Ronald Hicks, term ending December 31, 2011; Rosanna Hicks, term ending December 31, 2012; and Jan Kelley, term ending December 31, 2013.

The next regularly scheduled Board of Commissioners meeting will be held September 8, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. in Room 216 of the Douglas County Courthouse, Roseburg, OR.
