MINUTES of the Board meeting held on July 29, 2009
CITIZEN PARTICIPATION FOR COMMENTS ON AGENDA ITEMS ONLY
1. COMMISSION ON CHILDREN AND FAMILIES – Amendment #1 to the 2009-11 OCCF Intergovernmental Agreement
1st Amendment to the 2009-11 Intergovernmental Agreement between the Oregon Commission on Children and Families and Douglas County. The amendment includes the full 2009-11 biennial allocations with the exception of one quarter of funding for Healthy Start and two quarters of funding for Runaway and Homeless Youth.
2. LAND – Sixth Extension of Lease
Sixth Extension of Lease with ADAPT for a County owned property located on Court Street in Roseburg. Rent remains at $200 per month and lease is extended to July 31, 2009.
3. PARK AND BUILDING FACILITIES – Modification to A-1 Septic Contract #23199
The Park Division is requesting a modification to contract #23199 with A-1 Septic to increase the maximum contract amount not to exceed limit to $50,000. This is a change from the original contract amount of not to exceed limit of $25,000.
4. MISCELLANEOUS – Four Change Orders – Laskey Clifton
Four contract change orders modifying Winchester Bay Sanitary District’s contract with Laskey-Clifton Corporation for the improvements to the wastewater treatment plant. The change orders result in no cost to the County, but must be approved by the County to comply with grant requirements.

The next regularly scheduled Board meeting will be held August 12, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. in Room 216 of the Douglas County Courthouse, Roseburg, OR.
