PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
APPROVAL OF MINUTES: June 30, 2010
CITIZEN COMMENTS ON AGENDA ITEMS ONLY
1. COMMUNICATIONS – Fourth Extension of Lease #7081
Fourth extension of lease #7081 with Fisher Broadcasting for the Rose Mountain communications site. Extends the contract to September 30, 2010. Cost is $4,267.94/year, a 3% increase from prior year.
2. COMMUNICATIONS – Radio Site Lease Agreement
Agreement with BLM – Eugene District Office to lease space to them at our Roman Nose radio site. BLM will pay the County $1,320.00 for the first year (twelve months at $110.00 per month) with a 2% annual increase.
3. HUMAN RESOURCES – First Extension of Contract for Legal Services
The June 9, 2009, contract for legal services with Cummins, Goodman, Fish, Denley & Vickers, P.C., provided that the parties may extend the contract term for two successive years. This is the first contract extension. The only change to the contract is the extension to June 30, 2011. The firm provides employment law legal services to the County and Departments on an as needed basis. Firm has held their rates without increase since 2007.
4. LAND – Seventh Extension of Lease
Seventh extension of lease with Adapt for a County owned property located on Court Street in Roseburg. Rent remains at $200 per month and lease is extended to July 31, 2011.

The next regularly scheduled Board of Commissioners meeting will be held July 14, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. in Room 216 of the Douglas County Courthouse, Roseburg, OR.
