MINUTES of the Board meeting held on May 4, 2011
CITIZEN PARTICIPATION FOR COMMENTS ON AGENDA ITEMS ONLY
1. BID OPENING – Public Works
Bid opening for Slurry Seal of Winchester Bay Streets, County Roads #87B, 87C, 87D, 87E, 87F, 87G and 87H.
2. BID OPENING – Land
Bid opening for the sale of Douglas County’s Cedar Hollow Timber Sale #285. Minimum bid: $205,000.
3. FLEET SERVICES – Contract Extension
Second Contract extension with I-5 Auctions for Auctioneer Services.
4. LAND – Notice of Sale
Notice of Sale regarding the sale of two tax foreclosed properties located in Stanley Subdivision near Glide. Each property is a 1/40 interest in a common use area. ORS 275.225 allows for the direct sale of tax foreclosed property that is less than $15,000.00 in value and is unsuited for placement of a dwelling, and these two properties fit the criteria. Purchase price: $300.00 each.
5. LAND – Bargain and Sale Deed
Bargain and Sale Deed to Ramon and Rosa Commellas for an 0.27 acre parcel of land located in the Green area. This parcel was acquired in 1993 as part of the road project for the extension of Happy Valley Road between Carnes Road and Highway 99. The Public Works Department considers this parcel to be surplus to their needs. Consideration of $5,000.00 has been paid in full.
6. PUBLIC WORKS – Order Granting Vacation of Property
Order granting vacation of a portion of a dedicated road in Plat I upon performance or fulfillment of conditions. Petitioners: James Ernest Allen, David P. and Lora D. Andrews.
7. PUBLIC WORKS – Order Accepting Quit Claim Deed
Order accepting Quit Claim Deed from David P. and Lora D. Andrews.
8. PUBLIC WORKS – Intergovernmental Agreement
Intergovernmental Agreement for right of way services for Curtis Creek Bridge (#19C510) replacement, Douglas County. Maximum $5,000.00.
