CITIZEN PARTICIPATION FOR COMMENTS ON AGENDA ITEMS ONLY
1. BID OPENING – Public Works
Bid opening for Crane service to lift temporary bridges and box culverts as needed.
2. INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY – Order Authorizing Purchase of HP Disk Storage Array
Order authorizing purchase of HP Disk Storage Array from Tech Power Solutions. Due to exponential growth of County stored electronic data (emails, maps, aerials, photos, scanned documents, working data, growing historical data), we are nearly out of usable disk space. This purchase provides the additional, critical storage space needed by the County. Cost is $40,000.00.
3. PUBLIC WORKS – Contract with LTM, Inc.
Contract with LTM, Inc. in the amount of $497,965.00 for overlay of Wilbur Road; County Road #31, Mile Post 0.00 to Mile Post 2.17, Douglas County, Oregon.
4. SHERIFF – Agreement with City of Canyonville
Agreement with the City of Canyonville to provide police services. City of Canyonville will pay Douglas County $155,598.00 per year.
5. MISCELLANEOUS – Memorandum of Understanding to Establish the Southern Oregon Clean Energy Alliance (SOCEA)
Memorandum of Understanding between Douglas County and the Counties of Coos, Curry, Josephine, and Lane, for the purposes of mutual cooperation on renewable energy and energy efficiency projects for economic development purposes. There is no cost to the County.
6. (POSTPONED TO MAY 12, 2010) MISCELLANEOUS – Order for the Proposed Wilderness and Expansion of Areas for Siskiyou Crest Monument and Crater Lake National Park
Order joining Jackson, Josephine, Klamath, and Deschutes Counties in the matter of proposed wilderness and expansion of areas for Siskiyou Crest Monument and Crater Lake National Park.
7. MISCELLANEOUS – Appointment to the Local Public Safety Coordinating Council (LPSCC)
Appointment of members to LPSCC. Representation is specific according to ORS 423.560.
