PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE

MINUTES Approval of the Minutes of April 1, 2015.

CITIZEN PARTICIPATION ON AGENDA ITEMS ONLY

1. BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS – Acknowledge Receipt of Report (Commissioner Freeman)
Receipt of Public Health Final Report of Findings.

2. BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS – Grant Agreement (Paul Meyer)
Ordinance 2014-10-01 allowed for a one-time contribution of $250,000 from the county to UCC for the construction of their new health, nursing and science building. The ordinance was approved by the Board and became effective on 2/1/15. The execution of this grant agreement is required by the ordinance and will allow the county to disburse the funds to UCC.

3. HEALTH DEPARTMENT - Quarterly Invoice (Dawnelle Marshall)
Submission of Medicaid Administrative Claiming Fall Quarter 2014 Dual Purpose Invoice in accordance with requirements of IGA #142372 between the Oregon Health Authority and Douglas County Health and Social Services.

4. LAND DEPARTMENT – Timber Sale Contract (Gary Groth)
Timber Sale Contract with Lynn Herbert Sawmills, LLC, for the 2015-2016 harvest year, known as Busenbark Timber Sale #PK008. This sale contains approximately 22 acres, and has an estimated value of $384,725.00. The initial deposit of $25,000 has been deposited and the bond of $77,000 is in effect.

5. LAND DEPARTMENT – Timber Sale Contract (Gary Groth)
Timber Sale Contract with Scott Timber, for the 2015-2016 harvest year, known as Scholfield/Winchester #297. This sale contains approximately 26 acres, 1.401 MBF, and has an estimated value of $532,485.00. The initial deposit of $53,000 has been deposited and the bond of $106,000 is in effect.

6. LAND DEPARTMENT – Timber Sale Contract (Gary Groth)
Timber Sale Contract with Dancer Logging, Inc., for the 2015-2016 harvest year, known as Course Gold #296. This sale contains approximately 58 acres, 1.016 MBF, and has an estimated value of $367,946.00. The initial deposit of $31,000 has been deposited and the bond of $74,000 will be in force on May 1, 2015.

7. PARKS DEPARTMENT – Revised Order Authorizing Purchase (Gary Groth)
This is a revised Order Authorizing Purchase from Romtec, Inc. for a pre-engineered restroom from Federal price agreement #GS-07F-0095M. Purchase was previously approved on 07/23/14 in the amount of $55,157.02 and due to revisions on internal components the cost is now $58,335.01. Cost: Increase of $3,177.99 from original Order.

The next regularly scheduled Board meeting will be held April 15, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. in Room 216 of the Douglas County Courthouse, Roseburg, OR.
