7. ASSESSOR & TAX – Property Tax Refund (Susan Acree)
2012-13 Property Tax Refund in the amount of $9,484.25 to CML-ORE Armadillo LLC.

8. LAND – Timber Sale Contract
Contract with Scott Timber Company for the South Winchester Timber Sale #292. Sale contains approximately 28 acres, 1.39 MMBF, and has an estimated value of $416,450. The initial deposit of $42,000 has been deposited, and the bond in the amount of $83,000 is in force.

9. PLANNING – CCI Reappointment (Keith Cubic)
One membership term as the Committee for Citizen Involvement (CCI) Representative on the North Umpqua PAC has expired. Charles Spooner has received a recommendation for reappointment from the CCI.

10. PLANNING – PAC Reappointments (Keith Cubic)
PAC Reappointments: Clay Jordan to Callahan; Jan Tetreault to Coastal; Marc Nichols and Richard Fink to North County; Jim Langston to North Umpqua; Kathey Linn, Tom Michaels and Kris Nace to South County. The reappointments follow the provisions of the PAC Ordinance and recommendation of the PAC. Open recruitment is not conducted on reappointment(s). The CCI solicits from the PAC Chair and member before recommendation.

11. PLANNING – PAC Appointment (Keith Cubic)
One vacancy exists on the Roseburg/Douglas PAC. Kettie Walker has applied and received recommendation for appointment from the Committee for Citizen Involvement.

12. PUBLIC WORKS – Intergovernmental Agreement (Robb Paul)
Intergovernmental Agreement with the City of Sutherlin for improvements of Comstock Road, County Road No. 154.

The next regularly scheduled Board meeting will be held April 10, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. in Room 216 of the Douglas County Courthouse, Roseburg, OR.

 

Douglas County may audio/video record the proceedings of this meeting for future broadcast or other purposes. A copy of any audio/video recording is available upon written request made to the Information Technology department. Cost is $5 per cd/dvd copy plus $2 shipping costs.
