MINUTES of the Board meeting held on February 24, 2010
CITIZEN PARTICIPATION FOR COMMENTS ON AGENDA ITEMS ONLY
1. PUBLIC HEARING – Second Reading of Ordinance No. 2010-02-01
Second reading of Ordinance No. 2010-02-01, changing the manner of selection of Darley Drive Special Road District Board. If approved, the Ordinance is effective June 7, 2010.
2. PUBLIC HEARING – Second Reading of Ordinance 2010-02-02
Second reading of Ordinance No. 2010-02-02, changing the manner of selection of the County Surveyor. If approved, the Ordinance is effective June 7, 2010.
3. PUBLIC HEARING – Second Reading of Ordinance No. 2010-02-03
Second reading of Ordinance No. 2010-2-3, changing the Veterans Advisory Committee membership to include a broader representation and remove term limits. If approved, the Ordinance is effective June 7, 2010.
4. ASSESSOR – Orders Refunding Taxes
Orders refunding taxes to: C.A. Galpin ($1,624.21); Harold & Barbara Bracy and Bracy Living Trust DTT ($302.53); Craig & Irene Hart (599.24).
5. PUBLIC WORKS – Real Estate Option and Order Accepting a Warranty Deed
Real Estate Option and Order Accepting a Warranty Deed from GGF Enterprise, LLC for the Acquisition of Right of Way to be used for the widening and realignment of Old Pacific Highway County Road No. 386. Consideration is $6,545.00.
6. PUBLIC WORKS – Right of Entry with the Cow Creek Band of Umpqua Tribe of Indians
Right of Entry with the Cow Creek Band of Umpqua Tribe of Indians for all activities to construct the South Umpqua River (Pruner Road) bridge.
7. SHERIFF – Contract with the Forest Service
Contract with the Forest Service for patrol services on Forest Service Lands in the amount of $56,750.

The next regularly scheduled Board of Commissioners meeting will be held March 10, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. in Room 216 of the Douglas County Courthouse, Roseburg, OR.
