COUNTY COUNSEL
1. Order Accepting Deed – Related to the title to a tax foreclosed property (Lot 1, Winchester Home Sites) through the 2005 foreclosure
LAND DEPARTMENT
1. Real Estate Option and Order Accepting Deed – From Todd Fitzgerald, Scott Fitzgerald, and Jon Fitzgerald for acquisition of real property and a permanent easement to be used for slide repair on Coos Bay Wagon Road #4B. Consideration of $9,950.
PLANNING
1. Natural Hazard Mitigation Grant, No. 245991A – Douglas County adopted its Natural Hazard Mitigation Plan (NHMP) on December 23, 2003. The NHMP is required by FEMA to be updated and adopted every five years. This grant helps fund the required plan update and adoption. In the event of a natural disaster, communities with a NHMP are given priority treatment by FEMA.

ADJOURNMENT AND NEXT MEETING
The next regularly scheduled Board meeting will be held January 28, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. in Room 216 of the Douglas County Courthouse, Roseburg, OR.
Douglas County may video record the proceedings of this meeting for future broadcast or other purposes. A copy of any video recording is available upon written request made to the Information Technology Office. The cost of a DVD is $5.00 per meeting. As part of public policy, Douglas County will attempt to provide public accessibility to services, programs and activities.
