3. BID OPENING Fleet Services (Robb Paul)
For one (1) New Full Size Ton, Four Wheel Drive Crew Cab Pickup with a Long Wide Box

4. ASSESSOR Tax Refund Over $5000.00 (Alika Gaceta)
This is a utility (Avista Corporation) that is being centrally assessed by the Department of Revenue. We have been assessing since 2008. Correction made by statute for 5 years, plus current.

5. LAND Tree Planting Contract (Gary Groth)
Contract with Grayback Forestry, Inc. for the planting of 31,530 seedlings on approximately 72-1/2 acres of County forest land. Three bids were received with Grayback being the successful bidder at $375.00 per thousand seedlings for a total cost of $11,823.75.



6. PUBLIC WORKS Intergovernmental Agreement (Robb Paul)
IGA with Oregon Department of Transportation for right of way services for the Olalla Road: Olalla Creek Bridge Replacement project.

7. PUBLIC WORKS Transportation Title VI Plan Summary (Robb Paul)
Douglas County Transportation Title VI Plan to insure that the civil rights protection plan afforded by Title VI are adhered to.

8. MISCELLANOUS South Coast Regionally Significant Industrial Area (RSIA) (Commissioner Boice)
A RSIA is a state designation that provides for prioritization of priority industrial sites in allocation of state infrastructure funding, such as Immediate Opportunity Funds (ODOT) and SPWF grants/loans. An RSIA for central Douglas County was established in 2012 which includes the Sutherlin Industrial Park. South Coast Development Council has prepared an application to designate an RSIA, including multiple Coos County properties and the unsold portion of Bolon Island. The Industrial Development Board recommended approval at their December Meeting.

9. JUSTICE COURTS Pro Tem Order for Reedsport Justice of the Peace (Paul Meyer)
Order Appointing Russell Trump (Drain JP) and Candice Hissong (Glendale JP) as Justice of the Peace Pro Tempore for Steve Miller (Reedsport JP) to serve in his temporary absence or other incapacity from January 1, 2016 through December 31, 2016.

12. ADJOURNMENT AND NEXT MEETING
The next regularly scheduled Board meeting will be held January 20, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. in Room 216 of the Douglas County Courthouse, Roseburg, OR. The meeting is available via Video Conferencing to Reedsport citizens at the Reedsport Annex, 680 Fir Street, Reedsport, OR.


 

Douglas County may audio/video record the proceedings of this meeting for future broadcast or other purposes. A copy of any audio/video recording is available upon written request made to the Information Technology department. Cost is $5 per cd/dvd copy plus $2 shipping costs.
