1. BID OPENING -- #999 for Parks Maintenance Facility Remodel
2. ASSESSOR – Tax Refunds
Order refunding taxes to Floor Works Inc. ($630.07); Barrett Smith ($1,147.64); Shari & William Johnson ($688.17); Michael B. Repchinuck ($635.60); William McCarter & Bernadette Hrabak ($552.06); James Haynes & Karen Patricia ($369.08); Dan & Breanne Dawson ($430.29); Gerald & Cynthia Kent ($323.57); St. Paul Lutheran Church & School of Roseburg, Oregon ($600.92); Arthur & Marilyn Clark ($811.91); Darwin Owens ($509.33); Frank & Gloria Newel Family Trust ($1,262.46).
3. LAND – Forest Stand Improvement Contract
Forest Stand Improvement Contract with Cutting Edge Forestry, Inc. for thinning work on 30 acres of County owned forest land near Sutherlin. Bid price is $159.00 per acre, for a total of $4,770.00. This project will be paid for with a grant from the Oregon Department of Forestry and the U.S. Forest Service using American Reinvestment and Recovery Act Funds.
4. LAND – Road Use Permit
Road Use Permit with Rosboro, LLC for a nonexclusive right to enter a County road system at Noel Ridge Road near Reedsport for transporting forest products. Term of permit is five years. This is a renewal of an existing permit.
5. PUBLIC WORKS – Amendment to Water Revenue Agreement
Third amendment to the Water Revenue Agreement with Lookingglass Olalla Water Control District to establish meter reading fees at the rate of $93.00 per meter until December 31, 2011, $115.00 per meter until December 31, 2012, and $140.00 per meter until December 31, 2013.
6. PUBLIC WORKS – Order Authorizing Purchase of (2) New Full Matrix, Trailer Mounted Variable Message Signs
Order authorizing the purchase of (2) new full matrix, trailer mounted variable message signs from National Barricade Co., LLC. Purchase is from Washington State Price Agreement #04106 and is exempt per LCRB 4.24 (Oregon State Price Agreement has reciprocal agreement with State of Washington). Total cost is $37,400.00.
7. PUBLIC WORKS – Agreement with Douglas County Inc.
Agreement with Douglas County Inc. in the amount of $54,000 for reimbursement of cost for utility relocation in conjunction with the Del Rio Road Project.
8. TAX – Order for Cancellation of Uncollectible Personal Property Taxes
Cancellation of uncollectible personal property taxes for Arlene & Glen Cantrell ($460.16); Lillie Contra ($246.62); James & Debra Ezell ($21.11); Alonzo & Dana Fotheringham ($59.38); Jane Glen ($4,874.36); Gotta Hava Java ($1,299.53/$305.14); Orval & Edith Haigh ($310.04); Lyle Hodges ($3.69); William O’Connor ($108.54); Tom Ruoff ($198.13); Allen Teitzel & Kathi Wall-Meyer ($31.61); Barbara Walker ($2.09).
