3. ELECTION FOR CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD FOR 2017

4. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES OF DECEMBER 28, 2016

6. COUNTY COUNSEL – Pro Tem Orders – (Paul Meyer)
Pro Tem Orders for Glendale Justice Court and Canyonville Justice Court.

7. PUBLIC HEALTH – Amendment to Public health Funding (Dr. Dannenhoffer)
Ninth amendment to Oregon Health Authority 2015-2017 Intergovernmental Agreement for the financing of Public Health Services. Increased funding to Douglas County by $11,154.00 to $1,323,484.00.

8. PUBLIC HEALTH – Contract Extension (Dr. Dannenhoffer)
First Contract Extension with Community Health Alliance to provide school based mental health services for the fiscal year 2016-2017 in the amount not to exceed $67,050.00.

9. SHERIFF – Grant Agreement (Wayne Stinson)
Grant Agreement for the Emergency Management Performance Grant (EMPG) for the period of July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2017. The award is in the amount of $92,353.00.

10. SHERIFF – Grant Agreement (Wayne Stinson)
Grant from the Department of State Police, being administered by the Office of State Fire Marshal in the amount of $20,000.00. The grant is intended to hire a contractor to create a Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) Extremely Hazardous Substances (EHS) Plan.

11. MISCELLANEOUS – Reappointments to the Traffic Safety Commission (Commissioner Boice)
Two vacancies exist on the Traffic Safety Commission due to the expired terms of Jim Brown and Dan West. Both would like to be reappointed to new terms that would June 30, 2019.

12. PUBLIC HEARING – Future of the Douglas County Library System – (Commissioner Boice)
Public Hearing for the Board of Commissioners to receive public comment from interested citizens about the future of the Douglas County Library System. The Board will hold another Public Hearing on April 5, 2017 during the Board’s regular Wednesday 9:00 a.m. business meeting.

15. ADJOURNMENT AND NEXT MEETING
The next regularly scheduled Board meeting will be held January 11, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. in Room 216 of the Douglas County Courthouse, Roseburg, OR. The meeting is available via Video Conferencing to Reedsport citizens at the Reedsport Annex, 680 Fir Street, Reedsport, OR

 

Douglas County may audio/video record the proceedings of this meeting for future broadcast or other purposes. A copy of any audio/video recording is available upon written request made to the Information Technology department. Cost is $5 per cd/dvd copy plus $2 shipping costs.
