MINUTES of the Board meeting held on December 28, 2011.
CITIZEN PARTICIPATION FOR COMMENTS ON AGENDA ITEMS ONLY
1. PUBLIC HEARING – Second and Final Reading of Ordinance No. 2011-12-02 (Peggy Madison)
An ordinance in the matter of adopting Douglas County Code Chapter 2.56 titled Mental Health and Development Disabilities Advisory Committee.
2. JUVENILE – Intergovernmental Agreement (Aric Fromdahl) – POSTPONED
This is an Intergovernmental Agreement between the State of Oregon and Douglas County for placement of youth committed to the Oregon Youth Authority (OYA) in the Douglas County Juvenile Detention Center’s 30-90 day Youth Care Center (YCC) Program. Since July 2011, OYA youth have been placed in the YCC Program under individualized contracts. This will eliminate the need for the individualized OYA client contracts. The charge for these services is $94.00 per youth per day.
3. PUBLIC WORKS – Contract Extension (Robb Paul)
Third Extension of Contract No. 24377 with OBEC Consulting Engineers for right of way acquisition services Weaver Road extension project, Douglas County, Oregon.
