Clerk's Office > Elections > Interactive Precinct Maps

Douglas County has been collecting digital data since the late 1980's. Our main goal in the beginning was to automate the assessment mapping and achieve a streamlined process for updating and sharing a common base. All other information was built on this data set.

You will notice that not everything will line up exactly due to the process of years of collecting data from different sources at different reliability factors. This website is a work in progress which will improve as new or better information is made available

The use of new technology has given us the ability to distribute information to the public in a visual manner. This is our goal!

GETTING STARTED:

Basic ideas to remember:

    - All actions on the website are performed by a click, click procedure. There is no click and drag.

Picture of the help icon. All toolbars available at the top of the screen have a description of use in the help. The first time you enter this website you may want to browse the help to get a feel for how the website works and what each tool does.

Picture of the legend icon. When selecting a feature on the map, there is a top down process that gives detail information. This can be changed by using the legend properties tool. This may require a screen refresh. Picture of the refresh icon.

Picture of the search icon. You should start with the binoculars to search using predefined queries that are designed for the type of data included in each map. Enter your information following the example and hit find.

Picture of the push pin icon. When a query results in multiple choices, use the push pin to select the desired result. The pushpin at the top will select all. Pushing the pin again will unselect the item.

    - When using the address search, be patient. The drop down is organizing every street in Douglas County by alphabetical order.
